The main problem as I see it is that most lawns aren’t prepared properly. The caliche that our homes are on aren’t conducive to water penetration, hard pan is the term. This soil should be prepared as a farmer prepares his fields, it seldom is. The home builder is just that, he levels the area for the slab, pours it and builds the house, all of the time compacting the soil more with heavy equipment. The first owner then comes in and lays sod on the impacted unleveled caliche and expects a Houston type lawn of an impacted alkaline soil.

ESP now has Effective Micro-Organisms that can break up the compacted soil, not the rocks though. These microbes are of the same types that are found in compost tea. We buy these Effective Micro-Organisms in a very concentrated form. Our spraying equipment can then spray complete lawns, ornamentals and trees with enough Effective Micro-Organisms to correct the soil imbalances. Our soil is alkaline, the Effective Micro-Organisms are acidic. These organisms will kill fungi and make an environment that will not support insect activity.

You shouldn’t expect one treatment to undo what has taken years to create. In the same sense you shouldn’t expect a one time treatment to provide continuing results.
